I fell down
Assalamualaikum Zubia,

We went to this month pm3 gathering on Sunday, baby..and there..everybody liked to play with you, to hold you...It was all fine until aunty Asmah took you from me and dropped you (of course unintentionally). I was completely shocked by the voice when the back side of your head hit the floor. It was such a horrible time for me baby, I am sooo sory Zubia, it happened just in front of my eyes, you know that? Anyway, you cried and that made it ok (ppl said).

Today I took you to dr.Capelle and alhamdulillah she said everything is ok. I didnt inted to go to your doctor, for everybody said its fine, you didnt vommit, didnt have fever, and you cried. Butt Amik aunty called and its better to make sure from any doctor.

Ok baby, i dont know what to write now. YOu are mashaAllah getting so active, inshaAllah by the end of your 6th month you will crawl. Also your teeth are coming, though not completely visible now.

I love you too much Zubia,

Mom

Main Pakistani hon
Assalamualaikum Zubia,

This is night time now, daddy and you are sleeping behind me:-)

Today daddy passport arrived, baby, with your name and picture endorsed in it. So, please accept my deep congratulations on your becoming a Pakistani hehehehe Sometimes I feel so weird about this, though your Daddy keeps convincing me that its really unnecessary to feel so.:-) InshaAllah Canadian Immigration will work just at the right time, baby...then I will have no reason to worry about anything.

You know what Zubia, these days you can hug me especially before sleeping, you put one hand on my chest, or sometimes on my cheek, and then you close your eyes:-) Feeling so nice really. You also can kiss me, well in fact lick me with your long and thin tounge hehehehe

Your tooth is finally coming I think, I can see that from your gums, well hopefully it wont be painful at all.

One thing I forgot to write before, is that your umbilical cord fell off right at the end of your third week, well its the longest one as far as I know :-)

Ok my smiling baby, time to leave, we have to go to pm3 gathering tomorrow, I also have to sleep I guess. See you sometimes else inshaAllah.

Love you,

Mom.

Jawaid caccha has got a son on Aug 12, but we havent visited them yet, inshaAllah the day after tomorrow. Tomorrow we will have to go to a notary public to attest my letter declaring that I allow you to be endorsed in your Daddy's passport.

Since few last weekends, we have started our invitation program, we invite one or two families to have dinner/lunch with us. This last weekend, it was Pak dhe Ismoyo's and Om Dian's family. You enjoyed your time with Pak Dhe, didnt you Zubia?

Thats it for now, baby...its time to sleep.

Daddy's salat
Assalamualaikum Zubia,

This post is still about your Daddy:-) You know what happened two days ago? He called me from office after lunch and excitedly told me about a very superb salat he just ate there. He said ,'tonight I want you to taste that tasty salat I had today'. So after office, rather than came straight home, he went to HIT (name of a supermarket here) and bought all the necessities to prepare the dish. After reaching home, he was then so busy in the kitchen, cutting the vegetables, steaming some mushrooms, and frying french fries. Half an hour later a beautifully decorated plate full of salat, mozarella cheese, french fries and a bun was ready for me. So adorable nature of your Daddy, I was just feeling so lucky:-)

Today there was a gathering at our place, budhe Sri's, budhe Ratna's, budhe's Ningsih's family and Ina Aunty. I got headache at the end because of the naughty and hyperactive kids.

Aunty Echa called and told me about so many nice informations about a six-month-old baby's developments which is so useful for me because I dont have any chance (or maybe I dont take the chance) to collect those all informations. Well, she is so kind, indeed.

Ok baby, time to leave...have a nice sleep.

I love you too much.Mom.

Ps : Almost forgot, Faisal Abbi received your pictures, Daddy already talked to them and according to Daada and Daadi, you are just a ditto copy of your Daddy's childhood.:-) Those pictures really reminded them of their times with him. They sounded so happy.

Daddy's shopping day
Assalamualaikum Zubia,

Alhamdulillah you are getting better in rolling over:-) And mashaAllah you start understanding what I say..or in other words, you start copying me :-) I Asked you..'Zubia, hit the table like this - while showing you how-' and then you followed me doing the same. The same case whenever I asked you to do something with your toys or hands. MashaAllah baby, may Allah always keeps you smart and briliant.

Toady we went to my doctor to remove the cast and stiches from my wrist. But you know baby, after the cast removed, I am feeling much more pain because now there is nothing no control my movements there. Anyway, dr. Dagtekin said it will take around 4-6 weeks to fully recover.

On the way back from Grundwald, we went for Daddy's shopping. We bought some pants and some t-shirts for him. But the whole way home he kept saying, '' yaar, I am feeling so guilty, why I am spending too much on myself'' hehehehe You know your Daddy very well, right baby? specially by the time when you are able to read this letter...he always asks us to buy whatever we want, but so rarely spend on himself. So usually his birthday or our anniversary are the best events for me to buy him something.

I think thats it for today, baby...inshaAllah I will write again whenever I find time.

I love you baby, sleep well...

I didn't cry....
Assalamualaikum Zubia,

This morning we went to your peditrician for your last vaccination of DPT, Hib and Polio. To our amazement, you didnt cry, baby...The next vaccination (which is MeaslesMumpsRubella) will be given after your 14th month. Our next appointment will be in the beginning of September for U5 and then in the middle of October for influenza vaccination.

We also weighed you and measured your length today, mashaAllah you are 9 kg and 70 cm. Dr. Capelle said 'hi, du bist so groß gewachsen':-)

So thats it, baby...we didnt go out today, just stopped by at Tengelmann for ice cream and some fruits after coming back from your doctor. I didnt even cook:-) since your Daddy already prepared some curry for my lunch. Today I have a little bit more pain on my hand, but I think its normal as I started using it to lift you:-) Your Daddy scolded me for this, but who cares baby? who can stand without holding her own baby for two weeks?

I called our family in Indonesia today, Mbah Rin, mbah Tin and mbah Ninuk, they were all fine alhamdulillah. Bagus has got a regret from navy, but he is determined to give another try next year. I suggested him to take some courses like computer or language in the meanwhile, but mbah Rin asked me to talk personally to mbah Marno who will be home this coming weeken. OTherwise everything was ok there. You know Zubia, everytime I call mbah Rin, she always asks me to pinch you, because normally you dont talk/make noises over phone. Well as a matter of fact, usually you talk when everybody is quiet hehehe

Mbah War has got an accident in his company and somehow he had to deal with police, but alhamdulillah its over now.

The whole day we spent together mostly in our bed:-)

Ok Zubia, thats it for today, you and daddy are already in deep sleep now. Oh yes one thing I forgot, today I posted some pictures of you to Faisal abbi in San Jose, hopefully he gets them before your Daadi and Daada leave for Pakistan (Aug 15).
By the way you have got some very nice and clear pictures taken by uncle Cahyo when they visited us about three weeks ago. Echa aunty sent them to me and I order the online printouts which I received two days ago. Some of them I sent to US, and some I kept for you:-)

Love you so much baby,

Mom.

'Tatata..tata..I can reach my feet'
Assalamualaikum Zubia,

I still have my left hand wrapped with thick and hard cast, but it will be too many things to write if I dont do it now. And I am also afraid there will be few important things missing then.

Cuty, day by day mashaAllah you are getting bigger and smarter. Since the last few days, you started saying 'tatata..tata..tata', while playing with your own hands and feet. I want to buy you a pair of socks with a rattle on each of them, but somehow I havent found them till now. InshaAllah on this coming weekend we will go to Baby Walz, for the socks and also for 'Vaude Kinder Trage'...we will use it to carry you on our visit to Pakistan and Indonesia in November.

Some times within the last two weeks, I gave you few spoons of solid foods (samples sent by Hipp, Humana and Alete) at lunch or sometimes dinner time. It obsviously seemed that you are ready to take solid food, baby...but for safe side, I think we better wait for one more month to regularly start with it.

Some other things I have to write here about you, are :-)... that you start recognising your own name, esspecially when its Daddy who calls you:-) you smile and get too much excited, and turn toward him wherever he is, at your left, right or behind you...that you can flip yourself from front to back and vice versa but you are not doing it often...that you can sit for a while when I put you in sitting position (and whenever I do this, your hero Daddy always complains :-) 'let her sit by herself when the time comes, now it might be harmful for her back'.

These last two weeks, we have got so many visitors, Zubia, well I dont need to mention I think, you can see the pictures at yahoo. Not all events I captured, including one with uncle Aziz family at Westpark which was the best moment among all. I am sorry for that.
Today we (with auntyElwis ) went to Uuk Nelly for lunch, and she bought you a very nice summer dress, its just too big for you now, but will fit you in next summer I am sure (inshaAllah).

I think thats it for now, Zubia. Tomorrow morning we will have to go for your third vaccination of DPT, cold and polio. Hopefully everything will go fine.
Have a nice sleep my baby...

I love you,
Mom.
